Busy…
Yeah, I know, it's been a while since I've posted. For me at least, there have been some very good reasons for this, but one sticks out. I knew going that the "going back to school" period was going to be incredibly busy, so I took a mini break of sorts on my typical online activities. School started on Monday (officially) and as advertised, it's busy! I have a beta page up and running that will be somewhat dynamic and have links to all my assignments, notes, and projects so that they will be accessable and shareable should that be desired.
My son Noah is 7 months old and has in earnest started to babble. I think it's funny now, but I have a feeling that may change. No worries, he's a great kid and I am really looking forward to seeing him get into trouble. I've been somewhat delinquent in taking pictures of him as he's grown and even more lax in posting the ones I do have of him. I'll get the pics posted in the next few days.

Noah’s arms and legs are getting pudgy. It may be because my wife and I are force feeding him like a goose.

Many things have happened since I went dark on this site. Without a doubt, the biggest is the birth of my son Noah.
Noah has been quite a trooper in his first 3+ months of life. Noah was born with an aortic coarction. In plain English, Noah was ok when first born, but developed an obstruction when one of his heart ducts closed about 24 hours after birth. Open chest surgery at 6 days old, and a cath procedure at 2.5 months are some of the fun he’s already faced. And there is likely more to come.
Could be worse, he could be going through all that and not (according to others) look so much like his old man
